1. About Mainspring

Mainspring is a watch repair and restoration workshop located at 59 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. We offer bench services for working timepieces, crystal and seal renewal, and comprehensive restoration programs for collected and inherited watches.

2. Use of This Website

You may use this website to learn about our services, read about our approach, and submit an enquiry. You agree not to use the site in any way that would interfere with its operation, attempt to gain access to restricted areas, or misrepresent your identity or intentions.

The content on this site — including text, images, and design elements — is the property of Mainspring and may not be reproduced without our written agreement.

3. Enquiries and Appointments

Submitting an enquiry through our contact form or contacting us by telephone does not constitute a binding service agreement. A service arrangement begins only when we have assessed your timepiece in person and both parties have agreed on the scope of work and associated costs.

We will make every reasonable effort to respond to enquiries within two working days. Our workshop is open Monday through Saturday, 09:00 to 18:00, and closed on Sundays and public holidays.

4. Service Pricing and Estimates

Prices listed on our website represent the standard charge for each named service. In some cases, a timepiece may require additional work not covered by the standard scope. When this is identified, we will contact you before proceeding and provide a revised estimate. No additional charges will be applied without your prior agreement.

All prices are displayed in Thai Baht (฿). Payment terms will be communicated at the time of service confirmation.

5. Care of Your Timepiece

We handle all watches entrusted to us with appropriate care and attention. While we take every precaution during bench work, you acknowledge that working with aged or delicate movements carries an inherent element of risk, particularly where parts are worn or fragile. We will advise you of any such concerns before commencing work.

We request that you inform us of any known issues, prior repairs, or concerns about your timepiece before leaving it with us.

6. Collection and Uncollected Items

Once work is complete, we will notify you by the contact method agreed at the time of drop-off. We ask that pieces are collected within a reasonable period following notification. Items left with us beyond sixty days after notification may be subject to a storage arrangement; we will discuss this with you directly if it becomes relevant.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Thai law, Mainspring's liability in connection with any service is limited to the cost of that service as agreed. We are not liable for indirect losses or consequential matters arising from the use of our services or this website.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation in Thailand.

9. Changes to These Terms
